Culinary Arts

Graduates of the associates program are prepared in all aspects of food preparation, including methods of cookery, sauces, soups, butchery, garde manger, pastry, and confectioneries, in addition to culinary management.

Graduates of our bachelor's degree program are prepared to join the food industry as entry-level food scientists and technologists, or to enter related occupational areas including product research and development, quality control and food safety, regulatory compliance, food production supervision, and specialty ingredient sales.

Culinary Arts Certificate

The one semester certificate provides students with basic cooking skills needed for any level of cooking as well as understanding of food service sanitation and other professional skills.



We believe in being clear about the cost of your education. Below is the estimated cost for the Culinary Arts (CUL.AAB) major based on Fall 2026 tuition, fees and parking. It covers 6 semesters: 4 full-time and 2 part-time with co-op in the 3rd and 5th semesters. Your payments will be spread across your studies based on the classes you take each semester. Note that costs may change depending on factors like course, delivery format, credit hours, semesters, tuition rate, and more.
